Anchor Man in the studio didn't know the significance of the Ipswich equaliser to Barnsley until 5.50 and Simon Davey's interview with Dave Cooper. Before that he had kept saying that Barnsley still had work to do to stay up. Absolute disgrace and unprofessional. One of the so-called 'local clubs' in their coverage area and he didn't understand the basics of our situation. Obviously too upset about events at St Andrews. (wnkr)
Thought it strange when he was rounding up at 5.00 and he said that Barnsley's champagne was not just back on ice it was back in the fridge. No it's not I thought - it's all over the dessing room floor (neer)
The treatment of the guy who had a grumble at Radio De Da was a disgrace, cutting the guy off.

Radio Humberside had better coverage Humberside switched over to the BBC Radio Leeds live feed (and even carried the commentary after the re-start) - as Hull were also interested in events at Leeds. Disgraceful local coverage today.
Sky Sports News were reporting that Leeds and Ipswich were going to restart their game but the caption for our game was saying we were "safe despite losing" Radio Leeds in 2nd half reporting on Leicester's goal "And news from Oakwell that Leicester lead Barnsley one nil, that is excellent news for all teams involved in relegation, except Barnsley". They kept crowing on about how we were losing that I had to turn it off. Put it back on for last 10 mins and went nutty when Ipswich scored!
I nearly had a heart attacked when he said that - presumed that Leeds had scored between me leaving the ground and getting in the car. what a tit.
Look North/Calendar And that shitty football show on ITV on Thursday night what are they going to do next season when Leeds are relegated? Will they totally ignore football now?
You're right .. it was extremely poor. We thought Leeds must have scored. We listened to the live commentary on Leeds and even after the final whistle there was nowt on Radio Sheff for ages. Then he just said Leeds were relegated - nothing about how that affected Barnsley, a team in the station's coverage area.
