Right tonight random thread is a mixture of both film and music. So here we go. What's the best sound track to a movie.
Firstly can I say sorry to for the missing n in the title, For me gladiator, love hans zimmer stuff, Kev... Which rocky ? Eye of the tiger or burning heart, both classic
The original theme, "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti. Pointless fact, I wanted "Eye Of The Tiger" to be played at our wedding. It'd have sounded brilliant on the church organ, blasting all round Holy Rood.
To be honest kev, that would ha sounded pretty good. I'm not married (yet) been with Katie for 13 years but when we do I want R.E.M it's the end off the world as we know it. Could be why we not married. ( but thanks for my next random thread, what was your wedding song)
Well, when it came to leading the dancing that night with Crystal, my mate who was DJing put on "You're The One That I want". By Arthur Mullard & Hylda Baker!
The Graduate - includes Sound of Silence and Mrs Robinson. Pulp Fiction - includes Misirlou and Son of a Preacher Man. Trainspotting - includes Lust For Life and Born Slippy. 24 Hour Party People - includes Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've), Blue Monday and Live Will Tear Us Apart. Difficult to choose between those for me. In terms of a more classical soundtrack/score I like Star Wars (John Williams has composed some epic music for a range of films and I could name any if them among my favourites), The Omen, Lord of the Rings, The Good The Bad and The Ugly and The Godfather.
This one's been done on here before I think, so I'll change my mind this time and say The Terminator.
