As there are now only £25 tickets left, it would make sense to use the raffle system again. I'm a stubby coming upon Monday and planning on getting there for 2am, would much prefer to stay in the car like we did for the Chelsea tickets and then start queuing half an hour before gates open. Go on BFC, have a thought for your customers, go on surprise me.
anyone know, (supporters trust people?) if they'll use raffle tickets on Mon? Could one of you possibly suggest it cos its bleedin cold , Ta.
im one of those with an ipswich stub, is it a mathematical certainty we will get a ticket, and aslo what time are people thinking of queing from?
oh yes they will. I guarantee you that there will be centenaries and stub holders who don't get tickets and none for general sale
who says there are 10000 left? There aren't. They are on sale to ST holders again tomorrow and the vast majority of ST holders are taking their full allocation, so thats 28000 at least, add on another 1000 for employees, academy etc, leaves 4000 left..........there are 3000 available to centenaries and I'd guess at atleast that for stubbies. So thats atleast 6000 people after 4000 tickets. But hey, if you want to turn up at dinner time and take your chance thats your choice I spose.
Surprised They Didn't Use Raffle Tickets On The First Two Days It would have stopped people having to queue around for anything up to eight hours.
not all season tkt holders have taken the full allocation, i for one did not, i know others who did not we will not sell out monday, i will guantee you that.
RE: Surprised They Didn't Use Raffle Tickets On The First Two Days it would have been confusing with the 4 price bands, but come Monday when there will only be £25 tickets left, it makes sense.
Weren't needed second day One orderly queue, 6 turnstyles, everybody served strictly in their turn.
Very civilised, no grumbles, good craic.
Course, that's after all the 'me-first' greedy Barstewards had been and gone.

Why should somebody volunteer ...yes, VOLUNTEER - to get out of bed at 2am to give you a chuffin raffle ticket?
we have not got those tickets yet. we only asked for 30,000 because the club ere unsure if they would sell them all!!!!!!
RE: Why should somebody volunteer thanks for your constructive response. Your post embodies the pious ST attitude that gets all us "lesser fans" backs up. You didn't need a raffle system because you were guaranteed a ticket, whichever day you turned up on. The rest of us need to be at the front of the queue as they'll be gone before Monday afternoon, mark miwurdz. I didnt ask anyone to volunteer. If thats how the club choose to organise things then thats because they are a bunch of amateurs doing everything on the cheap. I asked if a member of the trust could reply as I thought they may be in the know. It might not be great publicity if some old dear dies of hyperthermia in the snow...........but hey so far as the club is concerned, they shouldn't have been there.
RE: Why should somebody volunteer No intention of being pious or superior. Apologies if I came across that way.
If you choose to queue all night then good luck to you. I've done it myself so I do know the score and I am sympathetic.
However when I queued I had no expectation or desire that the club should produce someone to look after me in the middle of the night - whether paid or otherwise. Why should they?
