Honeymoon period over for both these two now i'm afraid. Now we are going to see what they are made of. Especially Rajczi who to be honest doesn't look like earning a contract with us in the summer.
How well can he be expected to perform when all he gets is long balls? Just look at how lively he looked after paul hayes came on who has the brains to realise he isnt that kind of player.
i no what your saying but, when he has the ball he don't really look like doing owt, and hes too powderpuff for me.
Rajczi suppose to be a striker, we'll not see him at his best playing wide right. Whats Ferenzci suppose to do too running around up front on himself, especially in the first half. Tactics wrong today!
He was getting sod all service from the midfield.
Wherever they were is anyone's guess....

Front players too far apart to link up But Davey prefers to call it a 4-3-3. Ferenczi won a good amount in air but other players were miles away from him. (doh)
Ferenczi on his own against a mountain of a centre half was something of a no-contest.
So I can't fathom why we played 4-5-1 for so long and relied on him winning flick-ons. First half we definitely had the lion's share of both possession and territory but offered no threat whatsoever. This was not Ferenczi's fault but rather IMO a tactical problem of not having anyone else up there to try something different.
Rajczi has looked better up front than on the wing and Howard's return to a more central position has failed to inspire any upturn in form. I think back to Howard out left and 4-4-2 is the only way - or possibly drop McCann and go with Howard in the middle and Reid on the left but then I suspect we'd be overrun down the middle.
I am concerned a bit about Rajczi, though - I'm afraid he may turn into another Paul Hayes - comes in on the back of a good scoring record but proves short on strength and, whilst undoubtedly skillful, no-one is really sure how to play him to get the best out of him. On showings so far, no contract earned yet.

RE: he can call it what he wants it started as 4-1-4-1 togwell just in front of the back 4. The problem is that the mid field players were so far away from Istavan he was completely isolated.
RE: he can call it what he wants Not sure what formation we were playing in the 1st half but whoever was on the right of midfield was non existent. Hassell had absoultely no help and the Derby players were finding acres of space out there. Often they were doubled up on Bobby before we got anyone out there. The formation was just a shambles in the 1st half particularly. Too many left footers in the side makes it look unbalanced. How we missed Devaney, although I thought Hayes did ok when he came on. As for Racjzi, dont think he is gonna be good enough for this level, too lightweight and when he does get the ball he doesnt seem to know what to do with it. He might be ok if we go down but he probably wont sign then.
Well If........ Hayes had started it might have been a different story because he was playing ball to feet. We will never know now and it's up to Mr Davey to have noticed this and play it the right way against Ipswich.
Istvan doesn't seem to be doing the running he did vs Hull and Stoke etc though!! Although he needs this to start from the midfield and another striker with him 2!!
