.........you never ever ever booo at the WELL !!!
.........if you can't say owt good at the WELL then dont say anything at all.....
If you want to moan then moan on here but not at the WELL

Didn't go last night because of other commitments..........but I aint worried at this stage of the season
There's a long way to go and I'm sure Hillflicker will turn it round
Remember Donny a couple of seasons back.......O'Dismal tried to play football and they lost about 13 in a row, but the manager stayed with it and by the end of the season the football pundits were saying they were the best team in the league to watch
Hillflicker are trying to achive this type of football

Plus........Hillflicker said a few weeks ago that there were no more players coming in until he had a look on how the players coped with the Championship.
Let these players have a couple of more games and then lets see if they are good enough or not

    On a 1 to 10 worry scale I'd say I'm a 8 at present

and I'd say it will take three to four quality signings to improve my level.

Well said nudger, best post of the night! I know the performances haven't been anywhere near good enough but we aren't helping things at all by booing the first stray pass and getting on there backs! Let's encourage them get behind them and push them on...... Basically support them!!!
I was outside the ground last night before kick off and the amount of people slagging the team and hill off before a ball was kicked seemed ridiculous to me! It's as if people want them to fail and sit there waiting for that first mistake so they can enjoy themselves by booing the team!

Let's get behind them for Christ sake!

All this doubting stems from just ONE THING..........

........and that is because Hillflicker has brought in LOWER LEAGUE players
But in my opinion......and I saw them at Forest and against Southampton.......those players have the ability to play in the Championship..........the reason we are losing is because we are not playing as a team

And remember Southampton went on to wack Ipswich 2 - 5......and Ipswich have spent loads
I think hillflicker will sort it out.......I'm really looking forward to how things develop

There was no booing last night...

... until we conceded 2 unbelievably ridiculous goals in 2 minutes to go from 1-0 up to 2-1 down.

We had the perfect start, and the crowd were behind the players.

We then saw a player completely unmarked from a corner head the equaliser. Unmarked from a corner - its basic Sunday Morning defending to run with your player at a corner.

The second was a pass which split the defence wide open and allowed their player time and room to cross. And (please correct me if I'm wrong), the Boro scorer was surrounded by 3 of our players when he put it in.

Even then we had hope - until the Red Sea parted again, and Boro got their third. This time he was one on one with Steele who did his best, but had no chance.

Booing is not the answer, but with 20 minutes to go, I saw Barnsley give up. Boro could have had a shedload of goals, but in the second-half they realised there was no threat from us, and simply held onto the ball. Even then, Steele had to make a couple of great saves to keep us anywhere near Boro.

2 difficult away games come up. Hopefully the tactics may work better away from home, and the pressure may not be as great on the players. If that is the case, and we pick up a couple of points, things may be different. If not, we will be firmly in the relegation zone, and the atmosphere at Oakwell will be poisonous.

And thats why I was angry about Shackell going...........

That guy is going to be sorely missed this season.......unless we can fill that position
Time and time again last season he was the difference between us picking up points OR getting beaten by an avalanch of goals
Edwards might be good but I dont think he's anywhere near Shackell
I dont think Foster is good enough so we need another EXPERIENCED centre back
