Out of all the loaned players there was only ONE the signing of Ramage that was actually a success

All the rest of the loaned players failed in one way or another..............the biggest failure and the one failure during the season that played a part in losing Flicka his job and probably added more than any other to our relegation was the signing of Pedersen

A lot was expected of Pedersen and he produced NOTHING

The boat was heading out of the harbour towards League 1 when Ding Dong joined............didn't expect much from him, not many expected owt from him - we got what we expected.

McLaughlin was a good player for us.

Wouldn't say Pedersen produced nothing - one of our goals of the season against Huddersfield. Admittidely thought he'd kick on from there and be a really good season.

McLaughlin was also a success. On balance given their reflective ages I think he was probably a little more successful than Ramage who was poor under Flitcroft.

    The rest were ***** though.

Let me just repeat something here..............'All the rest of the loaned players failed in one way or another'..............

How many matches did McLaughlin and Hunt play ???
In other words........how much did they contribute to the fight to keep us in the Championship ???
In other other words............we signed two totally unfit players there

    9 appearances

Ramage was very poor until January and then got himself injured. Our best centre half partnership looked to be M'Voto and Nyatanga to me.

I agree mostly, but I think you'll find that Pedersen was injured for most of the season.

Then you watch a very different game from me my friend. Ramage by far th best CB this season, OK he made a couple of mistakes here and there (the mix up with Steele - who was that against?) but by and large very solid. Would love to have him back.

M'Voto & Nyaatanga looked very leaky together - maybe because they were not match fit but when we lost Crainie & Ramage in teh same game against Leicester the writing was on teh wall really - weren't going to do anything with them two out. imho

I don't understand this Ramage praise.

He was, granted, pretty good from Jan until he got injured and he comes across as a really good bloke who stuck around even though he didn't have to.

But before that he was slow, cumbersome and part of an awful defense. What's the justification for him being a success? Think back to the Cov game, Hudds away etc.

Yes I agree with you, but he was the best out of the back 4 this season - by a country mile. M'Voto & Nyatanga the best CB pairing? - if they were together we'd have been relegated in January.

Being the best defender in our squad doesn't make him a success, though!

I think people often get performances and personality mixed up - he's been a good bloke on social media and come across well on the radio but before that short period when Danny took over I don't remember watching him and thinking he was any better than the rest.

Hard to quantify really, I do agree with you. Just my opinion, but I thought he was better than the rest - not head and shoulders mind

I agree on that pairing for the short spell they were together.

It was because those two were together that DW lost all intentions of attacking, we had to defend like mad, 10 men behind the ball AT HOME. Don't you remember not scoring at home in over 5 games, towards the end of the season?

Spot on. He came with a good reputation and over the course of the season I'd put him down as doing ok no more than that.

Did you go to the home and away games where they were paired anyone who did will tell you they were better than the sum of their parts. Cranie is our best defender by a mile has he played like that for most if the season - not really. Ramage was as bad as the rest for much of the season and put in sone truly awful performances up to January. From then probably the best of a bad bunch.

    4-1 Yeovil
    3-1 Reading

I'm sure we attacked a little bit.
