Was all set to go into town today with the girlfriend, when she looked out of the window towards her car. To say she was a little upset is an understatement. She saw that her wing mirror had been snapped off and was dangling off the car. She ran out to have a proper look. When she came back she was even more distraught - the other mirror had also been snapped off as well. Initially we thought that a car must have hit it and broken it, but to then find out the other one had been done too ruled that out. Especially the footprint that was on the car beside the dangling mirror. It looked to me like whoever did this might have lifted themselves up on the car parked next to hers, and kicked down onto the mirror, snapping it downwards. On the other side there was no evidence that a foot had been used, so more like they had forced it down with their hands.
If we had done something to deserve this then it wouldn't be quite so bad. But we keep our noses clean, and ourselves to ourselves.
Since we have been living here, over the last 5 years, this is now the third time that her car has been vandalised. In this time I don't think anyone else's car has been touched in the car park we share with other resident, apart from one car I seem to remember having had their rear window smashed through.
Both other incidents were in 2005. August 05 saw footprints along the bonnet and roof, where someone had walked over the car, and split the bonnet. November 05 we went out to find that one of her wheels had been stolen, and another one attempted, but they may have been disturbed.
Is it normal to want to kill, or physically harm the culprits? We are absolutely livid. It's not fair thattherearesuch idiots walking the streets. What i'd give to have half an hour alone with these Barstewards.

You have my sympathy mate Over the last few years ... twice locks broken into, twice fuel lines cut and petrol taken out and once a wheel nicked (
wire your car up to the mains.........then sit back, watch and enjoy next time some drunken chavs take a fancy to your lasses car!!
I have had wing mirror booted off before. Recently had somebody kick the door too. It is so frustrating.
also a lack of polocing on the streets, and even if it is reported they dont give a toss, unless you do 'wire it to the mains' and then guess who is in trouble????????
Tough ****. You should move to a house with a double garage in a quiet cul-de-sac in a nice area like I have!
Sorry, but just got bored with the sanctimonious season ticket holders on this board!

Huh? I take it the monitor I sold you has stopped working? It was only pressure marks that I showed you, which you saw for yourself. Worked fine for me, and the pressure marks were hardly that noticeable. Or are you really pillocking?
Ah, just remembered. Was it anything to do with the power cable? It blew the first one which I told you, thats why I bought the cable you have. Thought it would have been ok though. I'm still unsure if you are winding me up or not though :$
Thats exactly what it is mate. It's amazing how things have change in such a short space of time. When I was younger we would do daft pranks, but nowt that would cause damage to peoples property. The odd "egging" was bad enough for the original victims, but damaging people's possessions is simply unfair and uncalled for.
