Ok following on from the band of brothers and the advice on watching it.

What other box sets are worth buying or what do you have.

(And we could start a BBS exchange in them, where you lend each other them)

I've got the boxed set of most of Michael Palin Pole to Pole. Round the world in 80 Days Etc. Also Roots and Roots the next generation, Boys from the Black Stuff.
Also boxed sets of David Attenbourgh Life and Natural World DVDs. Fawlty Towers, One Foot In The Grave and I'm at present trying to get all of the Disney Classics for when the Grand children visit.

The only tv shows I have as a box set are, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Luther and Aufweidersehn Pet. All fantastic.

I've also got a couple I've not watched yet like breaking bad and tudors.

The Wire. Has to be the best cop show produced.
Jeeves and Wooster. The books could have been written for Laurie and Fry.
