So what pets do you all own, we don't have time at home for pets, would love a dog but can't, so what does everyone else on here have ?
I have 3 dogs, an Airedale, a Lakeland and a Yorkie. All terriers, ranging from the largest Terrier(Airedale) to the smallest(Yorkie).
Ive got a miniature schnauzer called Dave. Hes nearly 13 now so ive got pet crematorium ready on speed dial. Hes a top bloke, follows me everywhere, probably not a rough arsed blokes choice but hes a proper lads dog if you know what im saying. I bought him to stop our lass wanting kids. 2 kids later, hes well and truly mine but love the little furry get.
lost my old girl 6 months ago...........new pup not to replace her but can,t be without..............cocker spaniel man me...........cheers.
We have two dogs. Our eldest at 12 is a little mongrel called Bella. The other is a German Shepherd called Sable, who will be 10 in a few months. Both are rescue dogs, as have been the other dogs we've owned.
This is my old boy Spencer. Taken just after a trip to the vets when we thought he was a goner (see the shaved strips on his legs). His back legs are going and he struggles to ****. Still plodding on though at nearly 13. Love him to bits.
My two boys, Brad and Fudge, aged about 4 in 2005. They will be 13 this weekend.... parties all weekend !!! Brad had his left eye removed about 8 weeks ago due to serious infection and Fudge is having big problems with his front left leg.... he can hardly walk at the moment (in touch with the vets).... and yes he does have red eyes !!!! But I love them more than I can say.
Got 2 cats, Millie and Kasa. Sisters, a year old. Came from a rescue centre. Would like a dog but probably when we retire and have more time to look after it and take for walks etc.
None. Had a cat. It died, which made me feel like **** for a long time. I sometimes think about getting another pet, but every time I do I ask myself, "Do you want to feel like you did last time over a ******* dead cat when the new one invariably goes?" The answer so far has always been no.
We've got a Staffie. I've never owned a dog before - I was brought up with cats - but she came as part of the deal with Mrs. Baka. If you want me to move in with you, she comes too. Both of us, or neither of us. I had issues with the ******* barking to begin with, and was at my wits' end. That was two-and-a-half years ago, and I realised I had to change my attitude, because dogs bark, and she wasn't about to stop doing so any time soon. She's lying next to me on the sofa, under a blanket, twitching in her sleep. She's old. A rescue dog that my girlfriend got from Preston RSPCA when she was studying up there. On medication for joint trouble - Metacam and something else, which rinsed me for £130 on Saturday morning. I bloody love her. She has a humour and a character about her. Well, she probably doesn't at all, but my familiarity with her makes me feel as though she must have. Until she dropped into my life like a hairy brown loaf, I never knew how many Staffies there are in places like the RSPCA. According to the little animal charity down the road from where we used to live, there are nine thousand every year more than can be re-homed. I understand they have a reputation for being dead 'ard and wanting to bite your ******* face off. Not in this old lady's case. Unless you count jamming her head into my armpit because I've had the audacity to cease cuddling her as an act of violence. She's beautiful. I hated her to begin with, although I never hurt her, but now I can't comprehend what life is going to be without her. I wish she'd live forever, and grunt in her sleep forever, and wag her stumpy little tail even though she'd barking her head off forever, and jump up my legs when she sees I'm getting the lead out forever.
Three Bedlington terriers. Luca, Louis and Tilly. They're ace. Louis is just like Dougal off of Father Ted in dog form, the big daft git but he's my big daft git.
I'd love a dog but it would be unfair to have one with the hours me n r lass are out of the house. Settled for a cat 4 month ago called here mini my surnames cooper.... Sad I know
Two ten year old cats. Brother and sister, rescued at about 7 weeks old by BARC. They had been abandoned, and were found under a shed. We love them.
