What radio station do you listen through the day. I've found the most perfect one in my opinion. Absolute 80s Only 80s all day and very very little commercials So what gets you through the day. Oh Might put talk sport on but after a hour you had your days news
In car in my own ... Radio 2 or sometimes Heart. As soon as the kids get in they switch it to the Capital repeat the same songs on loop show. At work, my boss has Classic FM on. Urgh.
It's really werid, but I have started to like Radio 2, not my demographic at all (I don't think). That said, I like a bit of Radio 4 comedy as well.
6music all day everyday. Radmac are the best in the afternoons and Shaun keaveney's good value at breakfast
Toby in a morning and the rest of the day if i happen to be in the car i constantly flick between stations
Used to be TalkSport but can't stand it now, and it is very focused on the London clubs, particularly Tottenham. Tend to lean more to 5 Live now, even though the BBC and their presenters are so out of touch with the real world, it is marginally better than listening to the same rubbish songs over and over on Capital and Hallam.
Don't like the radio. Inane gibbering interspersed with songs I don't like. Having said that, I listen to Brian Matthew's Sound of the Sixties, if I'm up, and Tony Blackburn's Pick of the Pops if we happen to be in the car when it's on (although he favours the early seventies too much these days!). And if I'm in the vicinity of a radio when Ken Bruce is about to do his Popmaster I'll linger and have a go. I have a pretty good music knowledge, but I'm reluctant to ever phone in and have a try because if I won and they asked me to name three tracks by most artists post 1996 I'd struggle. It's not that I don't listen to music post 1996, of course, but I just have no memory retention for song titles these days. Whereas I'd have no problems reeling off the tracklisting of every Beatles album, for example. I struggle naming most players the Reds have had since 1990 if they played less than a dozen games for us too. Old age I reckon. I'd rather have my iPod or iTunes playing through the day. I listen to my iTunes through the day whilst I'm working. 2 years into my project of listening to the whole lot in alphabetical order and I'm up to New Order this week, which will take a few days to get through, as I have umpteen versions of most of their songs. Actually, just finished listening to Get Ready and it's a lot better than I thought at the time. Haven't really listened to it much over the years, but will do more often I reckon. A few live bootlegs coming up next.
I listen to Capital on the way to work as I like Hirsty's daily dose in the morning. I normally listen to CDs on the way home though as I get bored of the same songs.
Pulse. At work. Not much choice in that matter. Don't ever listen to radio at home. If I want to listen to music, I put summat on from my own collection.
Some of them do frustrate me but I think Nicky Campbell is excellent. I really like listening to him.
