Told him it was possibly the worst game I'd seen in years. Like turning back the clock to the cloggers of the early 70's. Was talking towards a wall n pointed out it was better than what was on the pitch before half time.

Then..... WOW!!! Scared the living daylights outta them!

Nads... hmmm didnt do owt special but psychologically the fans worship unnerved the Leeds defence who obviously hadnt done their homework on him and seemed bemused about what he can do. I'm not a Nads fan... already on record as noting he's a spacky backed lime jelly. But if it works it'll do for me :)

Bless Tommy he's like a big clumsy labrador pup... all waggy tail n boundless energy n enthusiasm but not quite in control of himself.

Howard & McIndoe made mince of them in 2nd half and the neat keep ball triangles at the end made Leeds look like what they are - dazed and confused.

2nd half probably best half of football in some time

Thought Nardiello did some very special stuff when he came on (the run for the 3rd goal, the turn and shot that Stack brilliantly saved, and the lob that hit the post), and I'm not a massive Nardiello fan either.

Best "striker" at the club though. By a distance.

Got an arse like Jennifer Lopez and not a grafter in a grafting team.

Will wait with interest what other better teams make of him assuming he gets 30+ mins in a game

We would not have won without him today imho.

He can keep Richards out for good for me.

"Nads didn't do owt special!!!" Are you having a laugh?

Bloody hell Ali, your eyes must be painted on! He was sensational, he beat 3 defenders as he ran them ragged in the box before placing the ball perfectly for Howard to score. He nearly scored with another perfect shimmy which hit the crossbar and was a step up in class to both Wright and Richards.
How we need him to start as he has class, is a box predator, (Richards is hopeless at that!)has a football brain, creates space, scares the proverbial **** out of defenders and scores goals. How you can say he did 'nowt special' I don't know.
But that's football, one ball, 22 men and a million different views.

    RE: 'a box predator'

The fact that he lurks in and around the box to pounce on chances, just like Fjortoft and Ward did.

He's nothing like Ward or Ffortoff and no where near as good, granted he had some good moments yesterday against a demoralised defence but I just don't get why he seems to be worshipped by some of the fans,he's no more likely to score than any of the other strikers we've got

"he's no more likely to score than any of the other strikers we've got"

That's really quite a strange statement. We saw all the strikers yesterday - who looked most likely to score to you? In recent, Nardiello looks more like scoring in 10 minutes that Richards has in the other 80.

By using the term 'box predator' previously it refers to a strikers instinct to get in the right place at the right time. I counted at least 4 occasions yesterday where Nardi might have scored, and he set up the winning goal to boot. They were all chances made by himself, for himself. Richards on the other hand had one put on a plate for him (OK he was offside, but when isn't he? EDIT correction - just seen championship, not offside but terrible miss) and he tossed it up. Same as against Derby, Coventry and other games.

Said worship also comes from the end of last season, when we needed a boost from somewhere in 3 games after looking like we were gonna miss out on promotion. At Walsall he won and converted the penalty that got us in, at Huddersfield he scored the goal that took us to Cardiff, then he brought us back level in the final. It is that likelihood to change a game when he seems to on the fringes that demands Nardiello must play, because NONE of the other forwards have enough quality to do that
