Rant, pissed off...

Why have we let him take charge of today’s game? Why the **** have we done that?! Why the **** have we not marched him out of the door after yesterday’s presser when he quoted ‘my agent is in discussions with other clubs’... amateurish.

Where’s the communication? Where’s our striker we were told of 2 weeks ago. Our media team are trying to wind us up, why won’t are commentary team have an opinion? Are they afraid of getting the boot again?!

We’re a Championship club yet have the mindset of a National League side.

Where’s our next manager coming from? Are we going down the Foreign route again?

The club have lied to 8,000 season ticket holders, I quote Dane Murphy ‘we won’t let this happen again’.

I'm afraid the 80%ers say what they think we like to hear. It's called propaganda. The trouble is they believe it themselves.
It could have been much worse today, imagine if you and a couple of thousand others had gone to Middlesbro spending a fortune to witness that. At least the consolation is that we all saved some money, the result would have been the same and the performance would still have been awful.

It’s pretty crap at the minute, but we need to stand by the club. I’m not a massive fan of the owners or many of our players. But I am a massive supporter of Barnsley Football Club and, let’s be fair, they need us more than ever at the moment.

I think the question to ask yourself is, do I love the club more than I dislike the owners. For me that is answered before I’ve finished the question.

When you love something and its getting hurt by someone, You cant stand by and watch it happen without at least voicing your concerns or doing something about it though.

September’s goal of the month, zero league goals and including a goal from a reserve game - mockery.

Taking the piss out of us when we were getting hammered at Chelsea, it wasn’t the time for light hearted fun.

Today’s ‘sucker punch’ of a goal at HT - we were getting annihilated and fully deserved to be behind.

Gotta agree mate, some of the stuff ive seen before, during and after our performances seemed a little off. Almost reveling in our misfortunes. Glad it werent just me.

 

what do you expect? If they don’t post anything they get accused of no communication, not giving a ****, they don’t care about us, repeat ad nauseum.

If the media team are winding you up that much, I’d love to hear your opinions on 2020 as a whole.

 

I’ve tried not to read too much into the rumours but a friend who’s met Struber before text me to say they bumped into him & he’s going. Says it’s too good of an opportunity for him & his family. Fair enough. Can’t argue with that.

 

I’m not the only one to pick up this may I add.

It’s amateurish, the last few performances have been awful - I’d rather the media team be honest about what we have witnessed on screen than try and mask over the *****.

Fair enough, it’s not been good, but you have to admit it is extremely rare for a clubs media team to be negative over official club channels, almost unheard of. This isn’t exclusive to BFC, with the way some have been going on you would think it was.

People are absolutely running with this 21 word thing, I wonder when it will be forgotten about. If I was the club, I’d do a 22 word statement, just to wind people up.

 

We run a player and goal of the month vote, every month, every season. We have no control over the quality of players or goals in any said month. We are just doing our job, buddy. You can’t just stop doing your job or down tools when things aren’t ideal.

Couldn’t disagree more on the other two points. But that’s opinion-based. It’s tough to please all of our audience despite that being the aim. We are a very small but hugely committed team of staff and in no way are we ‘winding’ fans up.

It saddens me to read such stuff. I give everything in my role. Yet, over the last few hours I’ve had a trail of abusive messages sent to me by random folk on the internet. Just because I work at the club.

Folk need to get a grip.

For what it’s worth mate, I think the clubs media output is top notch. Granted, I don’t use social media, but I do look at the clubs Twitter on a regular basis, and subscribe to all the official club channels.
