    Is this our new sponsor?

They seem to be a small local company. Can't find much information about them.

With this, our front of shirt sponsor(s) for the campaign will be shared across numerous organisations during the season, who will appear on the front of our kit for a set number of games each; working in conjunction with Together Red to eradicate abuse and discrimination in the local community. A percentage of the sponsorship fee received from each of these organisations will be donated by Barnsley Football Club to charitable causes that deal with social issues within the area. In addition to this, the Club will wear the name of a charity for a minimum of eight games this campaign.

This initiative will commence with Rapid Response Telecoms Ltd, who kick off this scheme by adorning the shirts in front of a packed-out Portman Road on Saturday, as the Reds take on Ipswich Town in Sky Bet League One action.

Amassing over 30 years of professional experience in the Fibre industry Rapid Response Telecoms Ltd. are a family-run local enterprise in Barnsley, and are just as determined to make a difference to their community.

Dominic Wood, General Manager at Rapid Response Telecoms Ltd, spoke of his excitement at kicking off such an exciting project: “Rapid Response Telecoms is a family run business. Specialising in Full Fibre Networks, as a Tier 1 supplier to many internet service providers across the north and the Midlands. We are based in Barnsley as a company, with around 140 staff, with the vast majority being from Barnsley.

“It has been a lifelong ambition to be involved with the football club, even though it won’t be as a player this has to be the next best thing. In short, our club needed someone to rapidly respond to its needs, and that’s what we do.

“We are passionate about our town, and the opportunity to get involved with the Together Red programme is one we couldn’t resist. We want to be part of the initiative to help our town.”
