I reckon he's worth a seven out of ten for being good. He let the game flow and didn't make stupid bookings. He was also brave to not wilt to Ponty pressure on two occasions for penalities. I wouldn't mind him coming again.

let their centre halves push Odejei in the back every time he was just starting to jump.

    He Didn't **** Himself........

when he could have gave them a penalty from certain handball in injury time. Decisions evened themselves out over the course of 90 minutes.

    How did it even out?

Just as clear a handball by them in the 2nd half.

Had we got a pen for the obvious foul on Odejayi in 1st half, they would not have scored.

There were a few certain handballs. He let so much go he should be refereeing rugby. There's letting a game flow and there's not giving anything.

is that the one where he was through ?

If so where do you sit? My mate in the ponte said the defender got a tackle in rather than a foul. I couldn't see it from my angle.

    But A Ref Cannot Win

He's either handing out silly bookings and not letting the game flow or he's letting the game flow and being bashed for not giving anything. Who would be a ref :D :D :D

I suppose you're right. I just think he bottled it when it mattered most at times.

He didn't exactly let the game flow

when he blew for a free kick to us with Howard clean through on goal.

Shocking performance overall. Burnley, like all Cotterill teams, are bullies and the ref let them get away with it time after time.

RE: He didn't exactly let the game flow

the only reason Howard was through is because their full back heard the whistle and stopped running. Looked worse than it was.

They were an 'in your face' side and I think in the second half we were back at them, whichwas good. I think last season we would have lost that match.

Looked to be dragged back all the way by the defender before he eventually went down.

    Now I know you are a wind-up!

    He was dreadful.

How can you say he let the game flow? Despite far worse fouls, he booked their player for a nothing foul to mask his ineptitude because he'd pulled play back when we were through on goal! The foul on Odejaye was as clear as you could wish for, and another on Mostto....was it 3 or 4 decent calls for a penalty that we had?

And how come when Campbell-Ryce was hauled down on the edge of the area in a tackle that wouldn't go amiss in tonight's rugby, did he not book their player?

It's not about "letting the game flow" if he gets decisions wrong.
