To put it bluntly it was two poor teams playing poor football seperated my a moment of magic from one dee dar Steve Kabba. First half both teams thought it would be good to lump it up front and play some amazingly bad football. Hume looked knackered and was huffing and puffing after 15 mins. I was very surprised he started as i thought hed be on the bench and come on in second half. Second half was a bit better with both sides creating half chances although Blackpool had the better chances to score failed by some resolute defending from Kozluk on the line and Steve Foster. Both Goalkeepers had quiet games and pulled off one decent save each in the firsh half. I aint kidding but if we play like that week in week out then we will struggle. With Barnsley we seem to match the opposition. We can match chelsea and West Brom and beat them and can also match Blackpool who are poor and lose. We have to start taking the game to teams and say "we are barnsley and to beat us, u play better than us". Darren Moore had his best game of the season although it was his type of game today playing against their target man Ben Burgess and he won everything. Howard was below avaerage and is trying to do everything. He needs to play his old game instead of trying to force things and do too much. Colace was solid and in a few games time will be a very decent player for us. Calm on the ball and not scared to put a foot in. The front two were poor today with macken looking more and more average and no where near the form of last season. El Haimour was poor once again. He brought nothing to the team today and backs out of everything and is so weak. Same goes for Devaney. Average. We need Cambell Ryce back asap on the flanks. Gary Teale was poor and for a wide player, his crossing is very poor. Odejayi did well once again and proved a handful up front. I think the wingers should be campbell ryce and hume on tuesday with odejayi up front. The ground is a **** hole and our fans were very very quiet today. we need to get behind them at Oakwell. Davey needs to sort something out as we were poor today and i think that if we are gonna win away games, then blackpool should have been one of them. Big game tuesday and bigger game against Southampton on Saturday.

i was their mate and he was poor. The whole team was poor and every week i look at simon daveys post match comments and wonder if im deluded and we are an amazing team with so much bad luck or that im right and he's the deluded one and that we are average and on todays performance, poor.

i would have given el hamouir a higher rating though he wasn't given chance to get into the game as everything was coming down the right despite devaneys poor preformance

Your summary is right but ratings are very generous. With the exception of Moore, Kozluk and Foster none of them should have got more than 6. Macken had a shocker, Colace was steady if unspectacular, Hume should never have played from the start and El Haimour was dire.

I had thought Colace had a good game and once he gets used to the Championship he could be very good for us

He just won't be as good as De Silva

Steele had a decent game can't blame him for goal - deserved a 7

Odejayi 7?????? I'd give him a 6 because like the Derby game he might have put himself about a bit but absolutely no end product. I'm sure he even kicked the ball into his own face

was colace on the pitch when Kabba scored?

Whoever's job it was to close him down did a miserable job. He had far too much time and space to pick his spot. Shocking defending.
