Why? Penalty save, cracking save in 1st half, clean sheet Oh sorry its Colgan though and we've already decided he shouldn't be in the team!
I think the opinion is so wide because.... We played as a solid TEAM unit Way hay for Andy Ritchie. Paul Scholes' Ultimate footballing hero
RE: I had Colgan and Tonge as my MotM just before we scored he came out and completley missed the ball was v.lucky, dropped the cross for the penalty. Im not saying he isnt a good shot stopper but he cannot and never will b able to command his box. Scott Flinders to me is 10 times better, and he could be the diffrence between sitting out of the play-offs or gettin in. Colgan if he plays will cost us at leats 20 points this season.
RE: Agreed I must admit I found it very hard to pick an MOTM today because there were so many decent performances and there was no-one you could say had a poor game. In the end I've gone for Matt Carbon, who was a colossus at the back especially when we backed off and let them come on to us. All in all an excellent team effort and very encouraging.
RE: Agreed Couldnt have gone any better. Hayes starts with a goal, Mcphail showing plenty of pride, a clean sheet and we had soem luck. Tonge, Carbon, McPhail, Nads, Hayes and Wroe were outstanding. McPhail my MOTM
Matt Carbon, who was a colossus at the back He got my vote, his most impressive game in a red shirt to date for me. He looked like he wanted to play for us today and was enjoying doing it aswell. Lets hope he can keep himself fit for the whole season. Excellent.(worship)
RE: Matt Carbon, who was a colossus at the back Well said thought he was going to rip Christian Roberts head off, good to see abit of passion.
