Anyone any idea if paying by C/C but going via a platform such as PayPal affects the Section 75 refund process? Cheers

It's worth having a read through the whole article, because in some circumstances you may still be covered, even though PayPal has been involved.

"If PayPal is used as a 'payment processor' by an online store, but you weren’t logged into a PayPal account, you ARE protected."

Cheers for replies. Seems like I’ve been unlucky. Bought some furniture a year or so ago via PayPal, but it’s used my Debit card but probably not eligible for Chargeback either (still looking into that) Problem is the furniture has been recalled due to safety issues but the company has gone into administration, and the administrators have advised that that I am a creditor, but I could try the Section 75 route for a full refund. Cheers
