Although not as obvious a MOTM as most times he plays, the whole team decided to put the effort in yesterday, I still can't understand why a few on this board persisit in rubbishing him. Ok, he's short but at least if he does lose the ball he puts the effort in to get it back again! As to McPhail, I wonder if he has had a reality check this summer (doesn't seem as though anyone else wants him!!!) because he seemed in the game a lot more than he usually is for the whole 90 mims. Also, Swindon were poor & should easily have got at least the one goal I predicted them! Still, I'm happy with 3 points!
"Swindon were poor" ... How many times over the last couple of seasons, have we said that about teams in this league, the difference yesterday, ... we went on to beat 'em. Long may it last. (nodding2fingers)
Its all about getting the important second goal For me the one small difference from last season has to be getting the second goal whilst were on top. Last season we went in front and pressed but never managed to kill games off and were often pegged back.
