We will never suit all fans no matter who gets the job, BUT Neil Redfearn & Danny Wilson have played over 1700 league games between them, plus extra cup games etc....Simon Davey played approx 130 games in his full career before injury. Without doubt i'd guarantee that Danny & Neil would transform that team into an attacking attractive side to watch by Xmas , theres not that much wrong with the players actually, they just need a regular style of play, play the right players in the strongest positions and they will blossom, that was Daveys biggest downfall, fool to himself for not using common sense and doing the basics.

I'd get rid of Kozluk Moore and Odejayi on loan, bring in John Stead & Billy Sharp circa £1.5million for the pair, they would make a young keen attacking forward line, age 26 and 23, so even on a 3 year deal we would get value and still be young enough to sell on, i'd have also gone for Freddy Eastwood last summer instead of Gray but the deals done now. We need an experienced centre back thats reliable & fit - a Chris Lucketti style maybe, and a decent attacking left back.

You might not agree with a few things but can we afford to stay as we are ? speculate to accumulate which is what should have happened Nov 2006 when they went on the cheap getting Davey instead of Kevin Blackwell

I have to admitt that I wouldnt be overly upsett by their if they both accpeted the job.
However I think they would be setting themselfs up for a fall.

Redfearn is still cutting his teeth as a coach so to come in and "save our failing club" would be a very big ask
And as for Danny Wilson he was good for us but he built his team that we so fondly remeber, This time he would inhertiate a team in a mess.
And In Danny case hasnt won or done anything for 10 years.

Personally I would like an older more experienced manager, who can read the opposition and motivate.
not just say " well 10 years ago we did...XYZ"

    Heres to hoping

I'am sure Patrick wanted Danny Wilson before he gave Andy Ritche the job. But he signed a new deal at MK Dons. Ritche got the job the day after....So who knows
