A mate of mine who works there thinks it's all about to go tits up.. How I miss Ventura and all the associated drama.
Ballax As faras I am concerned it's been going tits up for a while.
No dial tone, or not connecting to the server.
Phone call through endless menus to some bird who, with respect, has not much going for her where the English language is concerned, then trots out a load of idiot board stuff about disconnecting lines and reconnecting, then inserting the disc again and endless useless ***** that just doesn't work.
Then it just comes back on again all on it's own.Seriously thinking of outing them for another ISP.

sounds familiar to me that story,i had no broadband last october through to november,i rang orange up every day and each time the questions were like it was the first time i had rang, felt like Bill Murray in groundhog day,in the end i told them not to bother and ended my contract with them, fast forward to january and i get sky broadband, same problem at the beginning they quickly realised it needed a person to visit the house, hey presto problem solved and broadband agogo, thats customer service, not a 'kin clueless robot in india!
I've never had any problems. I just didn't enjoy working for them; although that may have been the Ventura syndrome. But as far as the service goes, I can't complain. I just hope these fairly big changes they're implementing aren't going to **** it all up.
Said loads of times on here that Orange are absolute rubbish. Same experience for me - no service and rank band "service" - costing me a fortune. Get out while you can and go somewhere else. Ditched em ages ago and went to Sky - happy with them so far............
