They've gotten along pretty well for years despite financial misdemeanors. This won't be any different.
If HMRC issue a winding up petition in the High Court, they will have two options. Pay up or reach a payment agreement acceptable to HMRC (unlikely) or go into administration to stop the winding up. Looks like admin and one relegation spot taken up
EFL talking about banning owner from owning a club, be interesting to see what happens if that occurs.
i reckon hed find a way round it,has he any offspring, employees.just because it doesnt say hes the owner doesnt mean he isnt.
I do feel for the genuine fans but seriously they have been doing this for years to the detriment of other clubs trying to comply with the errr guidelines (obviously not rules) and as we know rules are only rules as long as everyone adheres to them. They are not the only ones but they have their own rule book...just relegate them and ban them from signing anyone for 3 years......... next!
A club setting an example where others could follow suit if still treat as a toy. I’m sure there’s an interview somewhere with Mark Hughes, who was approached to take over as manager saying he’d rather stay in League 2 then join Reading the way things stand.
Fingers crossed for bust. Their place can be taken by a better run club that's had an harder time getting up the leagues, due to cheating clubs above them.
Looks like the players won't get paid at the end of the month. Another sanction/points deduction brewing it seems.
I hate this argument that’s like ‘I feel for the real supporters’. You know what I feel for. Supporters of football clubs who haven’t cheated and felt the knock on effects of these cheating football teams. When these teams were doing well and up the leagues they were lording it up over ‘Teams like Barnsley’ and taking the piss out of us while we do things the right way and suffered. Absolutely zero time for Reading and the like. You had the good times, now deal with reality.
That's why the Brighton love-in pisses me off so much. They cheated their way into the Premier League as well, but they've been well enough managed to stay there. If they hadn't gone up when they did they'd have been absolutely fcked.
