Didn't deserve to finish the game with at least a goalkeeper. His timewasting was pathetic. Do they not have a 6 second rule? Do they not get punished for taking too long for goal kicks? And there definitely should be a rule for taking 10 minutes to pick the ball up (Non competitive play?). Good to see Stam's injected his old Man Utd tactics on Reading. Doesn't help that the ref was a complete bottle job.
Was asking myself the same, have they got rid of it? And if so, why? Counted over 10 seconds every time he had the ball in his hands. Can't believe he didn't pick up a booking, for the good it would have done - he's never going to get two yellows for time wasting so what's the point. Should have been more than 5 minutes added on at the end.
Like I said, ref was a complete bottle job. He lost control after the sending off. The standard of refs is abysmal, especially with managers like Stam
The ref bottled it completely. He booked one of their players for time wasting at a throw in but turned a blind eye to the goalie doing if for nearly an hour. And a yellow card for a stamp? Bottled it big time.
I have never EVER seen any goalkeeper pulled up for the 6 second rule in all my years watching football. Ever.
Let's be honest guys, if we were leading away to Reading, we'd do the same. At Wolves on Tuesday night we had two players booked for time wasting. Very frustrating to watch tho'
And that's the problem. We had two players booked for it, their keeper was time wasting from the 13th minute and never got booked.
