I was thinking yesterday about how many players have come through the Man U youth set up in the past 7 or 8 years who have had a significant impact on the Prem or internationally and I couldn't think of one.
Ok... thats one But you get the point I'm trying to make... Man Utd built a reputation on their young players in the past, but don't seem to be producing the goods at home anymore.
West Ham have one of the biggest influences on current national team Lampard Ferdinand Joe Cole Carrick
RE: Wes Brown... Well he played against us in the prem... so thats why i said 7/8 years... because he was the last one I could think of.
RE: West Ham have one of the biggest influences on current national team None of them should be in the starting XI either.
Man City seem to bringing through the best youngsters now. Onohua, Richards and Johnson spring to mind.
Richards was not a man city graduate.... They signed him two years ago from a lower league side, but i forget who....
Oldham, who have a 25% sell on clause, which City tried to buy out when it looked like they could be getting £20M+ from Chelsea.
