why are you all doing this and thereby torturing yourselves. We all have seen the utter abject failures Simon has brought so far, why on earth do you think he will suddenly break from tradition and surprisingly bring in quality. It is simply not going to happen. We will bring in some unknown or tired old has beens, which is the rule of thumb for our dear Simple Simon. We will then all be saying "well at least he has tried" and be appeased by that. The new incumbents will of course fail miserably as the old have , and we will be left hoping that other teams do us favours as we have the last two season ends under Simple Simon. Just ask your selves this ... is this the progress we were promised in the "stronger together" season...no thowt not.

cant agree more. and whilever odejayi gets a shirt at oakwell, we will always know the club has no ambition. we have a major relegation scrap on our hands now. to lose to forest, southampton and norwich who are all (for the time being) below us, is inexcusable.

I wouldnt describe Macken or Stan as an utter abject failures either

Maybe Macken not playing as well as last season but he is still top scorer
    Stan was never a failure

28 games 28 goals, I do not see our strikers as a success with that rate nt

He's a forward that has been used on the wing

If you ask him he'll tell you he's a striker.

    You said utter abject failures

There is a bit of a grey scale between there and roaring success.
The signing of Stan and Rajczi almost certainly kept us up in Daveys first season
Macken was generally considered a sucess last season
He hasnt been great at picking strikers but not as bad as you are implying
His record in other areas of the pitch is pretty good
