We are sixth top and not sixth bottom!
I would have taken this at the start of the season. We haven't much cash to spend and to be fair Ritchie has done a good job. If the board were honest they probably didn't expect this .
The team's on the up - the finances are not great but they are improving and we seem to be going in the right direction! (raiseaglass)

I'd have been happy with a mid-table finish.

We can't run before we can walk. That said, it WAS pretty dire tonight. Lack of numbers, atmosphere, and the rain, didn't help matters.

I don't think Gillingham would have scored if we'd played all night. They are really píss-poor, and yet we could only win by a solitary goal.

This division is diabolical. Truly awful. We need to get out of it, by hook or by crook. If that means scraping 1-0 wins against God-awful teams until May, then so be it.

It might not be pretty, but I'll take it if it means we go up.

    Yep - I sure agree

If we can win games when playing poorly, then that is the sign surely of a good team?</p>

Either that, or a lucky team.

Neither is a bad thing, in my opinion.

Two words!! Sheffield Wednesday - last season!

Well, FOUR words actually - but they were a crap side last term and managed to get themselves promoted. No reason we can't do the same, as far as I can see.

Dominant centre half. Striker who could score a few.

assuming you mean Steve McLean, he finished the season with 20 and Hayes already has 11, hardly a million miles behind is he.

The clubs are all chasing the same defenders.

    Last Season

We would have drawn that game.

We defended very well with 3 fit defenders in the second half, all credit to the lads at the back. Reid and Austin were outstanding.
