Basically this young team of ours are still the lads who were playing good football early on. Not world beaters, but we're ok. We on here had big discussions on whether Hourihane and Watkins were good enough. Both blew hot and cold. The reality check is that this team is the same team but neither of them being in. The big question then, have we got a good team without them or not. Are we reliant on two players who are not world beaters. We are supposed to have a good squad because of our stature. Therefore why are we not playing well. Is it because these two are not in, I doubt it although it would help, or is it the way they are being coached. These lads may have had enough of the coaches tactical talks , and are in disarray and despair. The more they lose the worse it gets. Williams is not in the equation as he has not been involved, although his inclusion "when fit" may help. We do not see behind the scenes but it is obvious there is something drastically wrong. I myself, cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel, and this crisis cannot be allowed to go on much longer. I do not really believe we can beat either York or Altrincham, and as for Coventry, no chance. I think Patrick Clyne needs to have a reality check. First himself as overseer, I do not question his support. We need it. Then he has to look at Ben Mansford, is he the problem. Then he really needs to stop listening to Lee Johnsons rhetoric, and judge the situation himself. The fans are half and half yes and no, and nearly half Not Arsed. The next month is critical, we need a clear out of dead wood and replaced by fresh players who can help. We are carrying loan players who are not good enough and are just sitting on a bench. If they were any good surely the way we are playing they would be in the team. Come on Patrick, as General you need to sort it quick.
I think it's blindingly obvious that we do not have a good team. Good teams don't find themselves 22nd in the table fifteen games in.
