It's going to cause absolute chaos.
    Pumping out like a river.
Never seen one as bad as this.
    Running down Pontefract Road
Hope they can get it sorted.
What a thing to happen on natch day.

Both lanes closed near Hoyle mill

    Good heads up.

    Where is it.

Towards the Indian or up nearer ground.

I'm tipping it's at the top of the hill at side of old brewery site. (Always seems to have a puddle or 2 even when no rain for days and sun out)

Whoo! And I thought the flooding here was a result of an extra high tide in the Tay.

It's near the ground. Round the back of the East Stand.

    Just found bits in twitter.

One says closed from Cundy cross to grove street.

Another saying closed at junction to grove street.

So it's not clear how far you can get up ponty road or if at all.

Either way. It's expected to be closed all day and during game

Chaos about to ensue whatever way

Could the game be off, emergency services an issue etc? It's going to be ridiculously busy!

Fair point that. If it affects water supply to oakwell then I would say that will cause game to be off

I don't think so but I only saw the Oakwell end so not sure where it closes at the Cundy Cross end.

    Ah.

But of a detour then. Might go chuck into town centre.

Still free parking on weekends isn't it?

Our kid parks behind the Courthouse and it's free there. I think going into town is the best option.

Thinking of going by bus or train into tarn instead of driving in from wombwell
