    Yes

Very handy lad with good positional sense and showed some fine moves. Just needs to keep a check on his temper like, no matter how much he gets goaded. Really pleased with his contribution thoughlast night.

    He was fabulous

You would never guess he is only 18. Strong quick, aware, calm and assured. Brilliant.

He was by far and away the best player at Southampton too.

Just goes to show that everybody clamouring for 'experience' is missing the point. We just need players who are good and committed. It doesn't matter how old they are.

Excellent performance but he did give away a penalty. Seen it a few times on video now and it was a deffo pen!
Apart from that I think he was superb and deserves a permanent contract if we could afford it.

Talkin of Morgan, I bumped into him and his wife and 2 girls at meadowhell today. wife and him were having bit of a disagreement cos he was pushing the pushchair too close to the back of her ankles! made me smile, on the pitch he commands, but it's clear who wears the trousers in their house
    :D

    Agree, 2 impressive performances.

Can't believe he's only 18! Who wants/ needs Ray Parlour?

When he was with Sunderland earlier in the season it was with a view to a permanent move. The story was that negotiations broke down over personal terms. So he is obviously available, despite what Derby have said, but if Sunderland couldn't agree terms than I cant see us being able to afford him! The other point is that he did not impress at Sunderland, though they did play him at leftback, and that might have been the real reason that they did not complete the deal.

The deal with Sunderland was supposed to be ~£1.5m, from what I've read so, in short, we have no chance of keeping him.

Excellent performance from the young lad

Especially taking into account he was up against three experienced strikers in Parkin , Forster & Windass .
Whether we could make the signing a permanent one or not is another issue.Assuming he wanted to sign for us full time and his club were willing to sell , are the club prepared to commit themselves financially to both the transfer fee and salary that Derby and Nyatanga will demand ?

    For an 18 year old

His display was very impressive . If he can keep up that level of performance between now and the end of the season , then we'll have a good chance of avoiding relegation ( especially if our two Hungarian strikers continue as they've started ) .

RE: For an 18 year old

I couldn't believe he was 16 the first time I saw him play. Incredible maturity. He could be some player if he continues to progress.

Great win for you on Tuesday btw, even sweeter when you beat a team in a "6-pointer". I take it the Hungarians did well for you.

    Assuming they stay fit

They can be the difference between survival and relegation . Also , according to the manager , they're not yet 100% fitness wise and once they are , then they should be even sharper . The effort and commitment shown by Ferenczi and Rajczi was wonderful to see and obviously rubbed off on the rest of the players .
We've had far too many false dawns this season , but our Magyars have given us all a much needed shot in the arm .

    And maybe

they've come at just the right time for you. Fresh faces and the added impetus that they bring could well be the difference.

Bet your announcer has a great time when they score. They'd be worth loads in Scrabble.
