The Nike shirts were too plain and boring. This kit is bold, brave and imaginative. Like the round collar and trim on the reverse, the panel at the front is cool as well, could have even gone down full length of shirt. It's neat and tidy with plenty of white, just missing a few splashes of black which we seem to have forgotten about recently. I do like the different arm stripe, not everything has to be symmetrical and boring, there are no rules when it comes to kit design. I predict this will be a big seller amongst out younger army Yoooooooooooooo redssssssssss
I agree, it looks really nice - bound to be a good seller. But will the stickers keep coming off these like last season? I won't be buying another until that issue is definitely sorted.
Some design to shirt. Shorts and socks left wanting again though and yet they'll cost you about £30 odd quid to buy IF a #fullkitwa ...
I've never had that issue with any shirt - last one I got was the black/blue away shirt 2 years ago. Just wash it on the hand wash cycle and don't put in the tumble dryer.
I've had to take mine back numerous times and I know plenty of other people that have had the same issue. I'm definitely not doing anything strange when I wash it either. It's got to the point now though that I can't be bothered to keep taking it back - so my 2013/14 shirt is now almost completely blank. By contrast, my 2009 shirt is absolutely fine.
Most sports stuff these days you're supposed to wash at 30 degrees. The shirt doesn't really fit in with Avec's other kits this season, they've had a relaunch and gone "classic" a bit like Umbro did a few seasons back with really simple designs whereas this shirt is really fussy.
Last year was a recognised fault. Every shirt returned was exchanged and I personally took back 2 of my sons. The staff in the shop were great. I'd want the same assurances before I bought my son it this year, however, the price is absolutely ridiculous and therefore I won't be having it, even though a like the design. The Avec brand was budget stuff last year compared to the Nike collection. Even if this is really good quality, somebody is making a right mint from fans at £44 a pop for a football shirt.
