Mark Robins' first home game, followed by the BBS do. On a personal note, it'll be great to see everyone from the last get together, as well as the likes of Another Bubble, Druss and Ady. It's been far too long since I was in the company of those three.
If you haven't anything planned for tonight, why not pay a visit to the Thornely Arms in Dodworth? Everyone's welcome, most of the old gang will be present and a great evening is guaranteed (jedi one's going to be there!!).

    Expecting a good atmosphere

It seems that a lot of people can't wait to get there and support them. Not had that since our first games back in the Championship. I just hope everyone is patient and keep supporting if we start poorly. Game lasts 90 mins (or 98 if you are Barnsley and in the lead), a lot of people forget that. Everyone needs to get behind them now, back to being united as one. We may well have found the manager to move us up this league. You reds.

    I like

The '98 minutes' comment bit. Spoken like a true, world-weary Barnsley fan of long time standing!! :D

    RE: I like

There is definitely a conspiracy amongst officialdom against us. There has to be.

So the last referee we need

Is one who can't even tell when a goal has been scored!
    Oh bugger!!

    Who is the ref?

Not something I look for before the game. It just adds to the worry most weeks.

    Rob Shoebridge

The gentleman in charge of the Bristol City/ Crystal Palace game, where he failed to spot a perfectly good goal scored by Palace and awarded City a goalkick instead.

    RE: Rob Shoebridge

Oh dear. That was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. I wish I hadn't asked now.
