They were on a poor run when we played them at theirs but we proceeded to give them all three points and set them on a good one.
If we clap louder and put the previous games behind us we'll defeat them with the power of positive thought and good will.
Tell you what though. A lot is made of our transfer window being crap. Didn’t Huddersfield spend over £4million on Taylor & Charles?
Taylor scored once in his 2 or 3 games but then got injured. Charles has struggled but he likes a goal against us! Does show though that spending doesn't always guarantee success. Usually helps though.
Taylor who has been fit at Luton all season played 2 games for Huddersfield, got injured in training without realising at the time and is out 4-6 weeks, so a couple of weeks left. Charles has played 5 games for them and yet to score. He didn't score in his last 8 games for Bolton before joining them, so he's going through a big dry patch.
We lose this one and it'll take toxicity to a new level. 2 teams in dire form. and 2 sets of supporters growing more and more disillusioned by their club. 0-0.
Really not looking forward to it; Here’s a timeline of events that will happen - -First 30 seconds from the old timers ‘GERRIT FORRARDDDDDDD’ 0-15 mins’ - Top left of Ponty’… ‘Michael Duff is a ******, is a ******’ etc etc. 30 mins’ when we’re 0-1 down - ‘sack the board, sack the board Barnsley FC’ etc etc. Apathy sets in from 35 - 60 mins… 75 mins when Clarke takes off Nwakali … ‘you don’t know what you’re doing, you don’t know what you’re doing’ etc. 80 mins .. ‘Darrell Clarke, your football is ****, your football is ****’ etc etc. Bump this thread at 5pm Saturday to see how I do, I reckon I can easily tick off 3/5 I’ve suggested.
