Been a few matches to watch. Worst team was Newcastle. Wendy looking well organised and full of fight. Best team Brighton. And Birmingham looked very strong and difficult to break down. It's going to be difficult against them on setdi unless Hecky can find tactics to unlock their defence.
All opinions int it, personally thought Newcastle were bang average and that judging on today Brighton are ten times the team they are. Also I thought that Birmingham were poor all over the pitch and I'm quite confident we'll win on saturday
I personally thought that Newcastle didn't get out of third gear against us. It's the only time all season I think we've looked a little goal shy, and that's down to the lack of opportunities we were afforded. They looked very comfortable, especially in the 2nd half. I thought Reading did a professional job on us. Considering they had 10 men for a good hour they played very well. #TeamsLikeBarnsley
d'you mean the Birmingham we put 3 past at their ground 3 weeks ago that Birmingham ??? yea we realy could not break them could we.
I agree with the above. Brighton look to have more guile than Newcastle at the moment, although QPR are pants to be fair. They have lost 5 or 6 on the bounce and haven't scored in most of them. I didn't think Newcastle were spectacular at ours earlier in the season. Professional and did enough. Going by all the 3 games I've seen last night and today, I'm encouraged. If Reading had kept 11 men on the pitch, they'd have absolutely butchered us. As it was, we very nearly nicked a draw at the end - but when it was 11 v 11, I thought Reading were going to score every time they went forward.
Reading were by far and away the best team I've seen at Oakwell, and as Baka has said 11v11 they would have massacred us, Fulham I think looked better by the fact we put in one of the most limp 2nd half displays I've seen
Re: d'you mean the Birmingham we put 3 past at their ground 3 weeks ago But we won't be playing that Birmingham. That was the home Birmingham set up to win and ripe for exposure to our counterpunching game. We'll see a very different Birmingham darn t'Well. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
We couldn't handle their 3-4-3. All their defence and goalkeeper were comfortable on the ball and whenever we pressed them they played it round us and their front 3 got at our defence time and again. We were taught a footballing lesson that day.
Re: d'you mean the Birmingham we put 3 past at their ground 3 weeks ago As always it depends who plays better on the day. I saw Birmingham on Sky at Burton and they were comprehensively outplayed. But they've been up there most of the season so can't be a bad side.
Re: d'you mean the Birmingham we put 3 past at their ground 3 weeks ago Their recent away record is not that clever though , only 4 points ( 1 win and 1 draw )from the last possible 18pts away from home
