you are far smarter than me, dont know how to do them graphic things nt

  4. Lots of rubbish on there but it is becoming essential for the top quality stuff that they put on, especially in HD. I know cricket is not for everybody but watching it in HD is just fantastic!
Plus there is always the odd Reds match to look forward to.....

    try this

< img src = " copy and paste the web address address of the picture here " >

Use the above code but leave out the spaces apart from the one between img and src

dont know if you read my post earier in the week

but, according to the Virgin salesman, the quality difference on my 38" screen, would not be worth the extra money

  8. Maybe it depends on the size then?

Mine is a 32" and the difference when you select a non-HD channel is obvious. Watching football in non-HD for example, the players have ragged edges as they move. In HD it is crystal clear. Watching the David Attenbrough type programmes is another good example - the colours and the clarity in HD are startling. It costs an extra £10 per mth just to use the Sky HD box but I think it is worth it. Obviously this only applies if you can afford it - I wouldn't pretend that it is an essential item. It is a luxury after all but it's one I am prepared to pay for until the time comes when I can't

    So

The Virgin (who hardly have any HD channels) salesman told you not to bother with HD (most channels on Sky)?

    I wonder why that was?!
