    Dont suppose anyone knows anyone who can have a look at an old record player that has stopped working? It's a reight old Fidelity model and the turn table and automatic vinyl droppy thing just doesnt seem to work. Was working fine xmas day! Any shops in town that can help as im new to thuis game!

    silly question but have you checked the fuse? otherwise it sounds like the motor has gone or possibly the belt if its a belt drive the droppy thing is powered by the rotation anyway so if the turntable isnt spinning its not going to work

    No idea where you can take it though

    The guy who runs Vinyl Underground (upstairs in that Emporium thingy on Peel Street) re-conditions and sells old record players; he might be worth evin a word with?
