    If Bruma was to be available tomorrow we could have ten Barnsley league debutants take part in the fixture. Apart from our first game at Lincoln in 1898, the previous high was nine v MK Dons in 2004.

    Also highest number of players to score on their debut in one fixture is currently four so this could also be achieveable (we only need five goals).

    Record first day win 4-0 Home v Rochdale 77-8 and Shrewsbury 81-2

    Record first day defeat 0-7 Away v Derby 14-5.

    Season could potentially see our 1000th League and Cup player since 1898 currently we stand at 973 the last being Simon Heslop.


    As you can see, theres not much to do in Turvey during the long summer months.
