that was a 100% a penalty, you can't win the ball and flatten the man it just doesn't work like that.

Fabregas would have got to the ball even after the (slight) touch fletcher got on the ball. The touch was brilliant and would have been a great tackle, however, after getting that touch, it did not move the ball far enough to stop Fabregas from scoring had he not been flattened by fletcher afterwards. he denied a goalscoring opportunity... red card and penalty. Come back when you know the rules of football.

still cant believe youre post. if you take the ball, then break somebodies leg, its not a foul, jus cos of the resulting injuring.you are so wrong.
and there isnt a football pundit in the land on tv tonight who doesnt think the same.

apologies for **** end comment, heat of the moment. just think u are so wrong on this one. its never ever been a penalty. you are obviously an anti man utd hater.
if you love football, youve got to feel for the lad fletcher, back helping out his defence with a quality tackle.

I like man utd as much as any team

and I thought it was a penalty. He took the ball but he only got to the ball by wrapping his legs around the player and therefore taking the player out.

no no quite the opposite i would prefer man united to win the champions league cos i think they are the most british club of a very un-british trio.

always want english teams to win no matter who they are. apologies accepted, i'm just sure that if you ask the governing bodies, they would agree that it was a good challenge until he took him out afterwards...

    why ridiculous thing to say

think of a winger funning down the wing, the ful back comes over, excellent sliding tackle takes ball and in the follow through, takes man. the ball goes row z, the man goes row y. no foul.
what a ridiculous thing to say???? i dont think so.

    Youve lost your head mate..

He won the ball, he tackled the man and won the ball, do you expect football players to get the ball without touching an opponent now.

The ball moved miles, Fabregas wouldnt have got it

Absolutely barmy, Whats so simple not to understand.

The problem is the ball didn't go in row z

it moved but had the player not been taken out as well then wouldnt he have still been able to reach the ball?

    I'm with you

I like Man Utd and wanted them to win, but to me he tackled from behind, wrapping around the man, he could not win the ball without bringing down the player - I thought it was a penalty.
