How come if you buy some for the birds in one of those cucumber shaped nets from the pet shop, they cost about 30p, yet if I purchase some 'for human consumption' from my local nutseller they cost £2.99? I have an addiction, basically can I eat the ones from the pet shop? And if not why not ffs.
The pet shop ones Are picked and bagged by people who wipe their bums with their hands but don't wash.
Why though? Where do pet shop peanuts come from which cause them to have entro .... eneter .... bacteria. Is it people with shitty fingers like Jay said? It just doesn't make sense, a peanut is a peanut.
Apparently the ones sold for the birds are older than the ones sold for human consumption. That's what I heard, like.
'kinell .... that's put me right off. Cheers, nice research. 'kinell .... anyone fancy 3 kg of peanuts?</p>
Red skinned peanuts.. Have been eating the cheaper peanuts for the last seven years and have only had the runs 93 times.
Not so sure about this advice about feeding them to birds "Visually inspect the nuts and grains for freshness and taste them to see if they are acceptable before feeding them to your birds" Aye ok - I'll do that!
