Reds almost sell out......according to official site

<span>BARNSLEY Football Club will be backed by a Red Army in excess of 25,000 supporters for Saturday's colossal Coca Cola League One Play Off Final at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.</span></p>



<span>The Reds have just broken through the 25,000 barrier as Oakwell was inundated with last minute postal requests. Club spokesman Gary Naylor went onto say, &quot;Yes we have recieved numerous emails and postal requests during today. One fan has requested 4 tickets on 24 different occasions which means we have sold 92 tickets to that lady alone. It just goes to show what can happen with a certain amount of forward thinking.&quot;</span></p>

<span>Fans are advised to keep requesting the same tickets over and over by using the internet emailing system the club has set up. Mr Naylor went onto say, &quot;By hook or by crook we'll sell these tickets. We really want to fill the stadium with Red whether the fans are there or not.&quot;</span></p>



<span>Tickets will remain on sale from the Oakwell Box Office all week with times to be confirmed over the coming days.</span></p>



<span>Barnsley make the journey to the Millennium Stadium to face Swansea City on Saturday May 27, 2006, KO 3.00pm.</span></p><span>

<span>Please note that all tickets priced at £52.00 have been sold and there are hardly any of the £42.00 allocation remaining.</span></p>

<span>Tickets priced at £22.00 and £32.00 for adults and £11.00 and £16.00 for concessions are still available but fans are advised to get in quick as only 4,000 remain.</span></p></span></div>

This post is a piss take because we have numerous posters on this board saying that the email and postal system has gone for a burton and the some of the requests have been lost.</p>
