    Says on there Brighton and Palace were originally trying to sign him in Jan so you'd imagine they'd be in for him too?

    Seems realistic enough with him already on the transfer list. Played a lot of games in his first season with them, but pretty much a bit part player last season despite the bad run of form they were in.

    Had a scan through their comments, and contray to what the Sheffield Star says, he's not out of contract at Derby, he's got 12 months left. Most of them seem to say he's a good player, until the rumors began to pick up speed mid January and then they say he's very injury prone and 'probably 3rd choice, so it wouldn't matter if we sold him'. Don't know the lad so I can't really comment.

    Oh and add to that, most of their fans reckon he's worth between £400,000 and £750,000, realistic figures really, yet if we got offered that for one of our players it'd be, "same old Barnsley having it's pants pulled down".

    You've hit the nail on the head

    As to why I don't give any substance to the comments & opinions of the fans from other clubs with regards to players we're either interested in, or actually signing. I don't think some of our fans are any different, either.
