wow i have not been so excited at news since we signed on loan "premiership midfielder" craig rocastle.
well even if we did sign him i still would watch the match from my season ticket seat and not one of the coporate areas for family and close ones. he will be amazing next season because oldham are making the pitch a yard wider on both flanks so its better for the wingers. plus the young player of the year himself gets on very well for new manager john sheridan as do all the players, most of which hated ronnie moore. he would be a better signing then coulson at scarbrough.
Simon Francis would be an excellent signing. I doubt Sheff Utd would want to sell him permanently as he seems to be highly rated there but maybe theres potential for a loan deal. As much as I dislike Sheff Utd they do at least try and help out other local sides by loaning their fringe players.
They don't do it to help other clubs out though.... Its more for the player and the loaning club.</p>
He is a quality player, athletic and can play in several positions. He would be an excellent signing if we could make it happen.
RE: Are you Ads Hinchcliff's unfunny brother ? (NFT) i just speak my mind. not here for a popularity contest. if i have something to say i will say it regardless of if its popular or not as should everyone. to answer your question, no im not.
RE: They don't do it to help other clubs out though.... Well it's obviously going to be to their benefit. I was just saying when they decide to loan players it tends to be to sides which are fairly local. I know that's largely because it's easier for them to keep track of how their player is doing if they're playing locally but I also think as much as he's a ****** Warnock does care about football in South Yorkshire. I'm sure Rotherham in particular are grateful for the contributions of Jonathan Forte and Paul Shaw at the end of the season. Anyway I think Simon Francis would be a good signing and is a realistic target for us.
