Skysports.com understands a host of clubs are monitoring the situation of Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes. The 21-year-old has been a regular scorer for the Terriers since joining from Ipswich Town in 2009 and is attracting interest from teams in the Championship. He started Huddersfield's opening game of the season against Bury, but was an unused substitute for last weekend's draw at Rochdale after returning from Scotland Under 21 duty. Rhodes signed a two-year extension in the spring to be contracted at the Galpharm Stadium until 2015 and Huddersfield have previously insisted he is not for sale. Crystal Palace showed an interest in the player during the summer and are understood to be still keeping tabs on Rhodes. Championship rivals Barnsley, Middlesbrough and Millwall are also understood to be weighing up whether to move for Rhodes before the transfer window closes.
I hate to say it but unless we are in a one horse race for a player I can't see them opting to sign for us.
Nope - Left us as a very young lad i believe to go with his dad when he got s coaching job elsewhere. Sure ive not dreamt that!!
You are correct Mr Potter, they both went to Ipswich. We were good to release them both. Time for them to repay the good nature we showed. Unfortunately we are are talking about footballers. How silly of me
Only thing in our favor is Super Jay is a Barnsley fan. I understand he's had concerns about playing day in day out at championship level after playing in Ipswich 1st team as a teenager. Now he's filled out I think he'll be fine. Again I heard Robins showed interest previously. Not heard owt about interest from us now but I haven't asked
