AT LEAST IT WAS A POINT - DANIEL Posted on: Sat 21 Feb 2009 WATCH AND LISTEN TO BARNSLEY WORLD FOR FREE!!! CLICK HERE FOR MORE REDS striker Daniel Bogdanovic gave his thoughts after today's draw at Oakwell. Daniel said: "It was tough today and we allowed ourselves to change our game to match theirs. We got dragged into their game and that was not good for us. We have performed badly today but we have taken a point and at this stage of the season that is all that matters. "It is not nice to come here and play badly at home. We have drawn the game and taken a point so at least that is one good point. "We did very well on Tuesday night and today we were not that good. It is not easy to play against the bottom team in the league because they have nothing to fear and they came here to defend. We have players who want to play football and we did not have the space to do that today. "We were not so good but at least we got a point. Points are like gold at this stage of the season. I would prefer to go out and play rubbish and take a point rather than look like Brazil and lose the game 1-0".
He was rubbish... along with all the midfield. Mifsud made some good runs off the ball, but thats not our style. Passing through the defence. We'd rather kick it 100ft in the air for Mifsud to head. Up against Mark Hudson. Who is 6ft 5. Awesome tactics from the manager that. He's blaming the wind... and yet persisted in allowing the midfield to just kick it in the air the entire afternoon.
Just awful. Awful.

I wondered if someone wrote that for him I particularly liked "I would prefer to go out and play rubbish and take a point rather than look like Brazil and lose the game 1-0" as if the 2 are mutually exclusive In general play like Brazil you win more than you lose
Surprised he got that long and well Mifsud hasnt scored in two games so hes in for it next match! I wasnt there though so my comments are pointless.
Give up! He was no worse than anyone. It was a dull game, but I think the strikers had little to feed off. He was forced out wide alot of the time as no-one else was willing to find space. Midfielders should have been doing that.
Don't see how the strikers could be criticised much... Their 'service' seemed to be a 60 yard punt or an aimless chipped pass onto Mark Hudson/Ward's head. When the ball was played into Bogdanovic's feet, he held it up, and when the ball was passed into Mifsud's feet, he looked dangerous. The problem was that in 90 minutes, they received 2 passes each, and 37 punts each.
Bogdanovic Can't Be Slagged Off First Game: Scored. Second Game: Set up the winner. Third Game: Got no service which isn't his fault. Great signing so far in my opinion (Y) (Y) (Y)
RE: Bogdanovic Can't Be Slagged Off Bogdanavic and Mifsud give us pace and mobility up front which we have lacked for a number of seasons.
They are intelligent players who get into the box and are both good runners off the ball.
Give this team who have only played together twice a few more games and the points will come rolling in.
