with Kennedy gone who will be the favourite to take all the abuse this season.

Probably M`voto cos one or two on ere were in training last season in preparation for his promotion push.

I think (I hope) that he might escape it, people seem to have taken to him. I think it will be one of the young 'uns.

M'Voto, possibly RNL cos he doesn't look like he runs about a lot, and as an outside bet - Jennings, for just in case he doesn't rip the piss out of defences every game.

when we're flying high, top of the league.

Fans will be doing nothing other than praising the players

cant believe some fans think the criticism of Kennedy was unjust, no one doubted his effort he was just ****

It's already looking close between RNL and Rose, which baffles me. But there you go.

My money though would be on Cranie. The last player signed by Keith Hill, earns two, three, four times as much as many of his teammates and not the type of captain that some folk prefer. I'd say he's favourite.

I don't have scapegoats or targets myself. I just say what I see. Somebody plays consistently well, I'll mention it. Conversely, I'll mention it if they play consistently ****.

But to scapegoat someone is to berate them or pull them down on the basis of seeing em out of position in one friendly game, by all accounts.

If moaning were an olympic sport folk from Barnsley would win it hands down. As for a scapegoat that only usually crops up if we are doing badly, ( unless you are Nicky eaden for some strange reason)

I am dreading it. Getting worse every season and quite right we are aTown of moaners. Get behind the players not destroy them.

Whoever takes the place of Tom Kennedy at LB with the job of booting it down the left side, unless Danny changes team tactics.

I don't think anyone was overly harsh on Kennedy, he was awful. Can only remember a handful of decent performances by him all season. His best performances were the games against Sheff Wednesday.

I've nothing against him though, I don't mind anyone who gives their all but isn't up to it, in these cases I blame the manager that signed them. No players going to say 'sorry I'll have to turn that deal down, I'm league one standard'

And why's anyone against either Rose or RNL? Neither have had a run of games to prove themselves

I'll have a guess at either RNL or Danny Rose of the young lads, Martin Cranie as his salary will probably more than anyone else's & some will target one of the new players, so they can be different.

It looks to me like it will be Digby, despite the fact that he iour best player.
