Just out of interest Can you listen to Dearne FM online - I cant get it in Surrey - wheras I could get Dee Dar
It'll be reight. We wont miss Radio Sheffield's hourly news updates, daily 1 hour phone in, pre-match build up, live commentary, post match reactions and phone in. Dearne FM have got us covered with occasionally mentioning us in the news, a 5 minute slot every night, and pele on his mobile a couple of times a game.

I'm willing to give Dearne FM time to see if they develop a more professional stance. I've heard 'Pele' before, and I'm not convinced he's the chap to give Davey/Shepherd et al a hard time when things go awry.
I've no affinity with Radio Sheff or anything and at times they've been c-unts but they aren't part of BFC and so have the freedom to ask what they want.

I think people would love dearne fm to be better than radio sheffield. But pissing sheffield off, then trying to hurriedly put something in place afterwards makes us look slack. Dearne fm barely even mention BFC in their sports news, and its the biggest sport in town. They certainly need to up their game if they are expecting people to just switch from sheffield.
If the money thing is true, then we certainly have a case that we should be getting the same cash as the sheffield teams, and the moral stance is one thing. But totally blocking sheffield from access is petty, the only loser is the fans. And if this stems from sheffield asking awkward questions then...
