Reds watching abroad Sunday?

I'll be watching in Flaherty's Irish bar, Barcelona on Sunday, having booked flights out here to Spain in January with the Play-Off final dates seeming as relevant as astrophysics to a binman.

Seems odd I sat through Crewe at home yet can't be at the biggest game of the season, but at least I've seen us win at Wembley last month!

Exiled Reds overseas... what are your plans for watching the game?

 

Ill be in Salou. My sons junior team touring Barcelona, three matches arranged. All been set up for nearly 2 years, and likewise, never saw the play off clash coming! 45 of us, all booked into a bar close to the hotel, and 2 Euros a pint.

I'm gutted not to be at Wembley I have to say, and I'll love it if we beat them. Love it. COYR

Sounds like a once in a lifetime trip though for the boys. Will that be 45 backing Barnsley, or will there be some disappointed Wednesday fans drowning their sorrows?!

 

Even worse I will be in the air landing back at Manchester at 4pm so won't even know the god damn score. Booked during LJ's masterclass of coaching us to the bottom of the league. Fair play he got us winning again, but it's his fault, the twit.

 

All backing Barnsley - we'll make it crack out there.

The boys will love it, Nou Camp tour included. So, yes, very much a once in a lifetime experience for most of them, and us.

Ill be getting hold of a dodgy stream online on Sunday evening come 9.30. Much better than having to get up at 2.45am for the 2nd leg last week.

 

I'll be (hopefully) using the same old URL i used for the two semi-final games, as I cannot find it on any channel here in the USA.

 

Moved to Malta at the start of the year so will be watching in the sun with a few pints of Cisk!

 

Hopefully in the sncos mess in akrotiri making use of the wifi if my boss gives me a couple of hours off my nightshift lol

I'll be in a motel in Kalgoorlie trying to find a streaming site. Driving out the bush next morning. Prospecting, like.

 

I'm in Antalya in Turkey but returning today. The holiday was booked before Christmas with a view to being back if we got to the playoff final.

 

I was lucky enough to get to see us win at Wembley last month, took my son along too Sadly i won't be there on sunday, £1500 for another trip to Wembley is a bit pricey to be honest.

Been trying to email Bars on International Drive , Orlando , Florida to Watch this with a Few Beers and Found the George and Dragon Bar not to far away in a Cab so I emailed the Owner Al and he says he will put the game on for me if it's on is Football Channels list the list he has sent Include 1 B SportKlub 2 Serbia , TDM HD , beIN 0:a Sport and a few more Initials which mean nothing to me as don't the previous 3 I've listed in this Quote, wondered if I,ve any chance watching this on any of them 3 Channels ?

French rural broadband isn't up to streaming (0.6 Mbit/s anyone?) so I'll be listening to the match on Radio 5 live.

 

Wish I'd had your faith TT! I even laughed at myself when I considered whether I shouldn't go because those were the Play Off dates.

 

Really will be Reds int 4 corners of the globe spurring us on then!

Hope you all manage to get decent streams. Should be plenty online with it being on Sky/other major sports channels.

And Burgundy... at least you'll have a nice drop or two to take the edge off the tension of listen on the radio

 

I have to come clean and take no credit for this as I would have dismissed us getting to the playoff final. It's the wife who takes the credit, she originates from Goole and has no connection to Barnsley. She had a bad day at the office one Tuesday and I said come to the match with me (flickers great escape period). She has had a season ticket ever since. She knows more about the club than me.
