just read it myself, the size of the squad and wage bill is not there problem. if anything this current management setup has alienated these younger players. are we going to see more unfulfilled potential go to waste because of our 300 strong 'first team' squad which isnt good enough?

We'd rather loan a toiler like Fox than give Digby a chance to show what he can do.

 

My dad and his mate (Shillito's grandad )went to watch Frickley at Fylde on saturday.

How can these kinds kids be expected to step up if they never get a chance with all the dead wood on the books? We'll need em when we get relegated.

 

If I was Ben Mansford I'd sack Flitcroft tomorrow and put Paul Heckingbottom in charge for saturday with instructions to use only academy players to show the first team what a bit of desire is.

Ridiculous someone from the club told me about this last week it's like Flitcroft wants the sack.

 

Flicker has handled the youngsters very bad.

He's chosen to either ignore them, or, openly lambast them.

He then hands new contracts to the likes of Tom Kennedy and McNulty.......both of them not deserving of a Championship contract.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we have a divide In the club, because the squad is simply too big and he can't possibly keep a motivated tight group, when it's this large.

And it's all his own making!

what happened to the 20 man squad and rest young ones to develop and break into first team , one of our problems this year is we are loaning players rather than giving our young ones a chance

 

I'm really saddened by the mess that Flicker is making. The whole culture is completely different to that he worked so hard to build last season. What the hell has happened to our manager?

 

Looks like a load of b*llocks, to be honest.

 

I think Kennedy deserved a new contract off of the back end of last season.

Hasn't been the same this season mind, but neither have a few others.

It's the manager that needs an ultimatum. Get back to what worked so well last season or get back to Rochdale with Keef!

 

If I were you lot, I'd take that article about as seriously as I'd take anything I post. ie, not very.

Oh, and Hemsworth Tyke has 'sources'. You heard it hear first. Well, second...

 

I am genuinely astounded that anyone could use this non-article as an excuse to have a go at Flitcroft. There's plenty of actual things to complain about rather than an essay written by either a) a small child b) a mentally challenged primate
