    They're a weird bunch that red spotted lot. I went on the train from Barnsley to Edinburgh earlier this year and bought tickets from them. 2 tickets from Barnsley to Leeds, 2 from Leeds to York, 2 from York to Edinburgh, 2 from Edinburgh to Doncaster and 2 from Doncaster to Barnsley. All bought at the same time. They all arrived on the same day, but in 5 different envelopes. Each leg of the journey was posted separately.

    Yes theres a few about at the moment along the Dearne Valley on their way from breeding grounds in the Arctic back to Africa.

    Spotted Redshank in their black full summer plumage are absolute stunners.
