Yeah... it was a good night...comic was a bit on the edge like... De Zeeuw (Injured and told not to go by Jewell) Bullock (Cold) Watson (with Notts Forest) Paul Wilkinson (with Cardiff) Marcelle (too expensive) I think that's it.. did not come Jovo was there as was DW, Eric Winstanley and JD and a few former directors PM anyway
Next week's is in association with the club The one that Redstar went to was a private enterprise thing. Apparently Danny Wilson isn't going to the one next week.
On the offiicial site They're bragging about getting Jovo and Eaden for the do next week. No mention of anyone else.
People who are going next week: Redders, the kit man & us lot. And we're all sharing a room after. Get in. Literally.
The one I went to... was at Tankersley Manor and organised by Jason Thelwell. T'other is at Ardsley House and is organised by the club
I went to the Tankersley Manor one excellent night, Wilson, Winstanley, Dustman, Redders, Hendrie, Moses, Eaden, Liddell, Davis, Thompson, Stumpy, Jovo were all there. Managed a good chat with most of them. Meal was reasonable, plenty of free wine, comic was crap. They all went on the piss into town about midnight, and a lock-in a Durty O Dwyers had been organised. Quote of the night: said to Eaden "I hear you're at Lincoln now, is it ok?" Eaden : Arr, it's a game a footy on Setdy aft I suppose"
he said on your focus interview that he wasn't invited didn't he? Good piece that, I liked the feature on Barnsley. I got the impression from the interview that he would never come back to Oakwell.
Er..... ....not sure he said he wasn't invited!! Told me he'd not heard 'owt about it until the day before.
Not come back?? Not sure he said that either - I interpreted it as 'happy times....can't buy those sort of memories'. If he's any sense he never would, though. Never a good idea.

Yeah I agree probs best for him to come back. I didn't mean he had been actively not invited, but just that he hadn't been invited as of yet? Anyhoo, yep I just thought from his tone about "buying those memories" that he felt it was best left in the past.
