    Too late now but they didn't score in that moment anyway. We had a chance to regroup and deal with the set piece and didn't.

    We still had chance to defend it , it wasn’t a penalty it was a set piece , blame ref for a bad decision by all means and rightly so but don’t blame him for the goal .

    I agree we could’ve defended it better. But when the ref gets an assist I really struggle to entirely blame the defenders.

    If he’d given a dodgy pen I could agree with you but he didn’t which tbf was a surprise cos I was expecting one .

    The corner lead to the goal which lead to Cardiff's uplift in performance so it was a tad relevant.

    Personally the mistake he made was that he thought he could referee a championship game. Every aerial challenge they made was a free kick to us, some bad fouls with use of elbow, no yellow cards to them but the softest ever to mads in last minute, second half was as bad a ref display as I can remember this season.

    His biggest mistake was disallowing woodrows first half goal when he got battered into smithies by the gypo

    I thought Woodrow and Styles blast over the bar were a tad relevant to the result tbh or the disallowed goal which should have stood were more relevant than the refs stupid decision to give them a corner on a definite goal kick tbh .

    Nailed it mate. Perfectly good goal disallowed. No corner. Foul by kieffer. Constant/Blatant fouls by Cardiff. Off the ball shenanigans. Beyond a joke tonight.

    It's gone though. Maybe look at Woodrow. If he isn't backing in for instance. You know early doors what a phinicky foul is. Woodrow's daft fault. Get out of refs eyeline n' force him to make Cardiff look silly.

    To me it looked like Cardiff were a beaten team until that first goal. But like you say every event has an impact on the result.
    Lee Johnson could turn a defeat into a 2-0 win using this methodology :D

    I think you’ve misunderstood my posts tbh ,
    I’m not comparing players and experience and costs of players etc .
    I know we’re punching above our weight and working our ******** off to compete etc .
    I’m comparing our performances within our system and experience etc .
    If we’re outplayed or out thought fair enough but we made naive mistakes and not just occasionally and they were mistakes were making time and again ,
    I’m all for benefit of doubt and as a team we seem to be weathering teams better but some individual repeated mistakes does my nut in tbh .
    I’m not after perfection just acknowledgement that they’re taking something in .
