Leicester again had the benefit of the referees' decision on 78 minutes when Odejayi was pulled to the ground by Kisnorbo as he went for Macken's cross. Referee Halsey gave nothing.well done mr halsey cost us a point ,decissions change games or NON DECISSSIONS.

    Lets Blame The Ref AGAIN!!!

(blagger) (zzz) I thought Halsey had rather a decent game generally speaking.

He was very good, used the advantage well but I was about 15 yards from the penalty

and it was as clear a penalty you could ever see.

He was right in front of it too. For that reason it was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen made by a ref at Oakwell, and I mean that.

    Appalling.

It was compounded by the fact that he gave a number of subsequent free kicks for much lesser offences in the middle of the park.

Totally agree - on the whole he had a decent game, but a good ref gets the big decisions right and he got this one completely wrong. They say these things even out over the season, but that never happens to Barnsley - we get poor decisions week in week out. Stoke at home, Sheff Utd at home, Leicester at home just off the top of my head (4 points lost). Can't think of a time when I've walked away from a game thinking we lucky to get the better of the ref's decisions...

    Blackpool home from memory?

I just can not see how he could justify his decision not to give a penalty from where he was standing. He is paid a very good wage to get things like that right and he was utterly incompetent in that situation.

ANyway, what's gone is gone - I am sure we will be OK, by the skin of our teeth.

What about PNE away? I thought that penalty was pretty soft.

That's not what he was on about

He was on about decisions not going our way, and decisions going our way that shouldn't have.

So just because we've been awarded a few penalties makes it ok that a clear one wasn't given?!

I never get this "it evens out over the season" argument....it's a get out for incompetent and inconsistent refereeing. Because for things to even out then we need a decision like that in our favour in another game and Leicester need one against them, and same for opponents in those games etc....so what it basically says is we need ***** decisions in every game!

No but at the end of the season you can't turn round and say if we had been given that pen there we'd be safe or if they'd not be given that they would have gone down instead.

I'm sure every other supporter of every other club would be saying the same thing

    You tit.

Where you at the same game as me???

A typical inept performance by 1 of the so called top refs. He lost the plot in the 2nd half

    So Maybe..

It will even itself out against Cardiff then, we have 15 penaltys before Cardiff get too many men sent off thus the match is abandoned and we get all 3points and a 3-0 victory by default?

chances of getting 15 penaltys (sic) are pretty remote I would say

Im not saying we will go down on that 1 decision no, had we been giving the penalty we could have missed it. But it would have been nice to have been giving some decisions in & around the box rather than been given freekicks on the halfway line.

    You fecking lovely person
